How it works
To rent a bike from click2cycle, you will need a smartphone and debit or credit card.
Download & Join
• Download and open the click2cycle app to create an account
• Tick the email and sms notifications box to receive offers and discount codes
• Sign in to locate the nearest bike
Scan & Unlock
• Select a bike and check it carefully for any visible damage. You can report any minor issues to support@click2cycle.com. For more serious faults, call us on 07543184210
• Press the button on the right hand side of the lock until you hear a beep. Turning the handlebars will also activate the lock.
• Use the app to scan the QR reader on the bike or enter the bike id code. The lock will open and you’re good to go.
Cycle & Explore
• Please ride responsibly. Although not a legal requirement, we do recommend that you wear your own bike helmet and follow the rules for cyclists of the Highway Code (Rules 59 to 82)
• Make the most of our Rider Reward program and enjoy the offers along the way.
• If you take a break during your ride, use the app to choose ‘pause ride’ and lock the bike. You can pause your ride free of charge for 20mins. Please note that the rental and your responsibility for the bike continues after the 20min period, and ends only when the bike is returned to a click2cycle bike station and secured in place.
Dock & Lock
• Bikes can be docked and locked at any of our stations
• Important: Your rental ends only when the bike is returned and securely locked in one of our bike stations.
